    This is a Great, Rare, Early 1915 25th Co., 8th New York Coast Defense Command military "Pay Roll" document
    . This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early look, features the names & signatures of 78 soldiers serving at Fort H.G. Wright, Fisher's Island, NY, measures approx. 11" x 8.5" open, has 12 pages,
    is an Original, Vintage piece, from the World War I era, and Rare to Find.
    Washington Greys
    : The 8th New York Infantry, also known as the "Washington Greys", was stationed out of New York City and served in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. During WWI, they became the 8th Coast Defense Command and protected NYC's harbors, as part of the US Army Coastal Artillery Corps.
    This appears to be in Very Good, Solid condition.
