The Japanese top athletes use this staking blade now.
These skating shoes were made as the first model of Japanese skating in 1904, Suwa, Nagano.
In 1891, Inazo Nitobe brought four skating shoes made by lather from America, but these were too expensive to get for people. And in 1904, Nishimura lived in Suwa, Nagano, made it by wooden clog to get cheap. So ice skating was become widely known and passed in Japan.
It is hard to find in Japan, of course at the auction.
