    Description

A super rare lot of paperwork for the courts martial conviction of Antoine Nicholas, Co. B, 342nd Infantry, 86th Division, AEF.  He was charged, and found guilty of murder in the death of a French civilian, Eugene Arnaud in La Riviere, France.  Papers relate to the trial, and his eventual sentence to Leavenworth, also a letter from that prison asking for more details of his trial, dated just after the war.  I have NEVER seen such material in the public arena before.  6 pages of material, with an envelope.  From the estate of one of the overseeing officers, M S Stevens of Massachusetts.
