In view and available in this sale is a used Elinchrom S flash head in excellent condition. The Elinchrom S is capable of delivering up to 2000Ws of light output from any Elinchrom pack that can deliver the power. Manufactured in the standard Elinchrom size and shape, it provides built-in support for euro-style umbrellas and mounts all standard bayonet mount reflectors and modifiers. The Edison standard base modeling lamp base tolerates bulbs in a range from 50W to 650W to paint a picture of what the flashtube will provide when triggered. Head cooling is maintained by Elinchrom’s efficient fan ventilation system.
This Elinchrom S flash head is ready to plug into your Elinchrom power pack today. You don’t have an Elinchrom lighting system? A competent, qualified strobe repair company can adapt it to other systems for you. It will have the same capability it does in it’s native land, so to speak.
A small portion of the electrode wrapping is loose inside the flash tube. This is a common occurrence and does not affect power output or longevity of the flash tube.
Either way it’s in excellent condition and fully functional. It’s cosmetics are of normal use and there are no signs of abuse or damage. The Elinchrom S mounts using a standard 5/8in stand adapter. The cable is approximately 25ft/7.6m long and the connector is in perfect condition. Similarly featured current Elinchrom lamp heads sell at online retailer, usually as special order items, starting at about 0.
