This is an original press photo. Troi-Marie Higgins holds the leash of her dog, Babe, an Australian Shepherd breed, trained in search techniques, while trying to find the scent of Lawrence Wise, who is believed to have drowned Monday in the IntraCoastal Waterway off of Glisson Park in Crown Point. Higgins is a member of the Louisiana Search and Rescue, a group who has had their own personal dogs trained to help with search and rescue operations. The dogs have had a great amount of success even over water. In the boat is LaSar member Lisa Higgins (Troi's mom and JPSO deputy Melvin Ryan. They were searching Thursday. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 02-04-1993.
