This is an original press photo. When most of us prepare to step out to begin that journey to work, one usually turns on the radio or television to hear the weather forecast. But on a day such as this Blue Monday, when the temperatures continue to suggest that we wear an overcoat and gloves, we even have to tote something else, when the ceiling of the sky seems to be so low that one can almost stand on top a four-story building and touch it as most of the city's tall buildings disappear. As they sport their umbrellas, six ladies and one gentleman, await in the cold and rainy weather for a Regional Transit Authority Bus to arrive to take them to their destinations. South Rampart and Poydras Streets. Rain. Photo measures 9.75 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 01-23-1984.
