    This is an original press photo. One of the 43 dogs taken from an Avery Street house by city canine officers after a neighbor complained of the noise and nuisance. Forty-three dogs, bleeding from disease and bites, were seized from a Cove area house in Stamford Wednesday, and about 15 of them were destroyed yesterday, said city Canine Officer Beverly Bowler. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated -- 1983.
