Green beans exhibited by Edgar Aelvoet, right, San Antonio, won second place in their class at Saturday's November 9, South Texas Vegetable Day Show and were purchased by Pearl Brewing Company for a premium price. Pearl donated the beans to the Ella Austin Home. Shown with young Aelvoet is H. J. Eickenroht, Jr., Pearl's field sales manager. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 11-09-1963.
