This is an original press photo. Hot Springs, Ark. -- Central Ave., Hot Springs' main street looked like a river early today when floodwaters caused by heavy rains poured through the city. Stores reported up to four feet of water. The waters became so ferocious, they saved cars, smashed store windows and bent parking meters. Damage was expected to run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. No casualties were reported.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 07-16-1963.
