1960 Press Photo Bus passengers stalled in heavy snow in Philadelphia
This is an original press photo. Passengers on this cross-country bus were marooned for more than five hours along with hundreds of motorists and tractor-trailer truck drivers on the Philadelphia Expressway off the Pennsylvania Turnpike during heavy snowstorm throughout the East today. Traffic on the expressway ground to a halt after many trucks jackknifed across the highway and plows were unable to get through. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-12-1960.
