    Description

    This is an original hard cardboard 1896 calendar from John Hancock Insurance Company. Measures 16 by 13 inches  and on thick cardboard. This scene is called John Hancock announcing the signing of  the Declaration of Independence at sunset July 4, 1776. Nice graphics show Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and 10 others outside Independence Hall. Interesting that there is one Native American standing with the signers. Corners have some wear but overall displays nice.
